Summary of Roles:
WordPress has five pre-defined Roles.
- Administrator – One who has access to all of administration features
- Editor – One who can publish and manage posts and pages as well as manage other users’ posts, etc.
- Author – One who can publish and manage their own posts
- Contributor – One who can write and manage their posts but not publish them
- Subscriber – One who can only manage their profile
Teachers who create blogs are Administrators of their sites.
